The Show
Funny People Cry Too is a live storytelling story where storytellers tell personal, heartfelt stories to raise awareness for mental health and help end the stigmas associated with it. Attending this sold-out storytelling show isn’t just an entertaining, enlightening night out in LA, but a purchase from every ticket goes directly back to The National Alliance of Mental Illness.
Hosted by comedian Sarah Murphree, each show takes place in Los Angeles bi-annually and has featured people like Kristina Hart, founder of the 20,000-follower blog, Define The Relationship Blog, Kenisha Francis, breakout vocalist in India who won first place on the hit singing competition show “The Stage,” and Adrian Eli, SAG-actor and master storyteller who won first place at the Moth Story Slam and the Hollywood Fringe Festival for his one man show, “Baby Boy.”
